The outlay plan and construction of NISHANT AROMAS started at Palghar, in 1991 and was completed in 1992.
Nishant Aromas was founded in 1990 by two brothers, Laxmikant Harlalka, a commerce graduate having 18 years of experience in business, and Ramakant Harlalka, a chemical engineer from U.D.C.T. (Bombay University). He has 12 years experience in the manufacture and sales of Aromatic Chemicals and Essential Oils.
Nishant Aromas has two sister concerns– C.G Herbals— A Herbal Processing unit spread in an area of four acres located at village Umaria 20 Kms from Raipur state capital of Chhattisgarh, India. Its main products for processing are Patchouli, Nagarmotha, Vetiver and Dill apart from these it we also distil Lemongrass and Palmarosa.
IN 1996 we started M/s Sankhubaba International for export of natural essential oils & compounds to Europe, USA & sub-urban countries. Later we also started developing & marketing our range of products, which are used in Beauty Parlours, Spas and by health-care personnel who were also practicing Aromatherapy. We developed a huge range of products in response to our discussion with many clients who realized that India is going to foresee the market bloom. We started a chain of retail-stores in 2002 under the name SUGANDHIM and began participating in retail and health trade fairs within India and around the world. This made SUGANDHIM a popular name. In realizing the e-market boom, we started an online store on Baazee.com which is now owned by e-Bay Group. A new gateway for India to the health & beauty industry.
